Green Button Polyps?

I've noticed that my green button polyps are starting to turn white. Does anyone know what may be happening? I've had them about 6 months and color change started about 2 weeks ago. All water parameters are fine. Too much light? Thanks.

what kind of lighting do you have and how old are the bulbs. Could be a sign of bulbs going bad and they don't get enough lighting and the photosynthetic algae are dying off.

The more information you are able to provide in regard to your system....lighting/circulation/livestock......current water chemistry.....additives........the easier it may be to help answer your question.
As a rule button polyps are very hary and adaptable to various conditions......but fluctuations can stress them.....and predators can cause some issues.

Tank has been running about 2 years. I have other polyps and mushrooms in the tank and they are all fine. I use to check parameters twice a month and never had any bad readings. Right now I don't have a test kit and I last tested a month ago. I just recently started dosing iodine. Could that be the cause? Bulbs are 10 months old.
