Green Chromis KISSING!!!

i just watched my green chromis (2) kissing and doing some crazy fluttering dance?? What's it all about??? Is it a sexual thing

, or is it a status thing :notsure: ???

my cichlids did the same thing. they would kiss and circle each other, the circle would get tighter and tighter. i also saw what i think is your fluttering. they would raise up their fins and flutter when they were REALLY pissed, then charge the other.

Yep, they are not kissing, like kaotic said, its a dominance thing.

Yup, it is the equivalent I guess of arm wrestling. Usually one will "win" this and it may die down as the hierarchy gets more established.
