My 90 gal fish only tank is exactly two months old today. For the past two weeks he tank has had a green cloud. I have a wet dry with a 1200 gal pump, and protien skimmer. I've been trying to get rid of the cloud but I have not succeeded. Please help :help: .

Do you mean just a spot of a cloud, or your whole tank is cloudy?
What are your water parameters?
I'd suggest adding a bag of activated carbon to your wet/dry filter, where you can completely submerse the bag of carbon. Make sure you rinse the carbon out. Leave it in there for about 2 weeks, and then dispose of it (if you leave it in there for too long, the carbon will begin breaking down, and will emit toxins back into your tank).
Hope this helps!!!

Ahhhh... yes, that may be your problem. They say you can leave carbon in for about a month or so, but i never risk it. You can continuously have carbon in your tank, don't get me wrong, you just need to change it about every 2-3 weeks. Carbon will eventually absorb to it's max. and then start breaking down. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's causing your tank to be so cloudy. Hope everything goes well!!!
