Green clown goby

yesterday i bought a green clown goby and has been in the qt tank for 1 day and was wondering how long he should be in there before going into my dt he is eating and perching and swimming all normal.? or if he can go in now?

You should wait about three weeks I believe to be totally safe and make sure he doesn't have any diseases. You will have to closely monitor him.
P.S. I'm new so PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong...

Nope, a 3 week period, closely-monitored period is great.

Me too, but 3 weeks is still "great". Four weeks would be "ideal" to me. I think either or is pretty safe.

Ah, I disagree. I think 4 weeks is "safe" I think longer is ideal.

the guy at the lfs said that the green clown goby also has toxins that if it is scared of dies releases stuff that can kill my other fish. He also said that i only would have to qt the fish for 1 week i didnt say anything but i knew he was wrong so i asked you guys, but if it really true about the fish haveing those toxins that can kill other fish?

No, I have never heard of a green clown goby that releases toxins. The only fish that does that are cowfish and boxfish.
