No, they dont sift sand. They are cool little fish though!

What makes them so cool?

They have great personalities. I have a black, a red, and a green clown goby. The black and green will land on me while im in the tank. The green is a little skittish because the black is kinda a bully but he has never actually hurt one of the other fish.They are fun to have in smaller tanks.
