Green filefish

I have a green file fish and love his personality!!! I was wondering what everyone else thought about these peculiar fish. Mine makes a chirping noise when hes nibling at chunks of shrimp.
Just add any thoughts or opinions

Super cool filefish you have, love it, kept one for a few years, gave it away and the other person still has it, these are pretty hardy little files that are great Aiptasia eaters if you have any. They require a variety of meaty food along with greens to pick at, Good Luck and it may just end up one of your favorite fish.

My buddy has a tassled filefish that I am obsessed with. He's awesome, except he eats anything in a shell, so that makes cleaning a DIY job rather than leaving it to nature. No biggie, though

Just to add, Filefish are related to triggers, which also make noise when eating.

Mine picked at the snails and crabs when i first put them in, but after about an hour he leaves them alone.
He loves to attack the chunk of shrimp that i feed my eel, he races across the tank and eats as much as possible as quick as he can. Hes definitely one of my favorite fish in my tank, glad others are enjoying them too!!!
