Three cures to algae, eliminate the cause, get a natural method of control, or as mentioned above remove it yourself. Usually a combination of all three will totally eradicate the problem. I wouldnt go as far as removing the rocks, but I would definitely reach into the tank and pull the biggest clumps out. Algae needs light and nutrients, one you cant do without, but you can get rid of any extra nutrients, if thats a problem, via more water changes, carbon, skimmer, or add some caulerpa which will compete with the algae for the nutrients. You could also add some critters that will feed on hair algae, a lawnmower blenny, some red legged hermits, emerald crabs, and/or more snails, Turbos will eat it if you place them directly on top of it and its not too long. "HELP I CANT STOP BUYING THEM....IM OVER STOCKING MY TANK", that might be adding to a nutrient overload, no pun intended of course. GL
