Green Hairy Mushroom Question

Ok I have a huge rock covered in green hairy mushrooms. Today I saw one that was floating free around the tank. Can i just rubberband it to a piece of rock so that it will attach on its own? If not what will work to attach these?

tupper wear container, net and rock. put the mushroom in the container with the rocks. put the net over the top and give it a week or so. the mushroom will attach to the rock. or let it pick up sand and attatch to the sand. pull the shroom out of the tank and dry the foot and glue it.. (good luck. they are slimey SOB's..) i tried and glue wont work. try the tupperwear deal.
