green open brain sick

I bought a green open brain 4 weeks ago.
when I put him in the tank I dropped him
That tore a small piece of him.
I thought he was ok - tear not getting bigger
But the last couple of days its getting worse
My water conditions are good and everything else is doing great.
Any Help would be great! <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

Have you seen the shrimp or anythintg else on the brain? The shrimp will eat the brain if it has a tear in it. That is what happened to my brain. Dont do what I did and just give up on it. I put the brain into my thirty gallon to cycle the tank. I figured that there was no hope. I saw how it looks when a brain REALLY dies. Also by the way what fish store do you shop at I am from the denver area and I can give you a few pointers.

Oceans Apart
they are at Evans and Monoco
I do not have another tank to put him in
I have not seen my shrimp on it
But this could explain why just in the last 2 days its going quick

You should check out the great barrier reef off from Santa Fe and Oxford. They are a great store for fish. The owner will also put your fish in a hospital tank if you want him to. All what you have to do is ask. Not to knock oceans apart or anything but they are expensive. I dont know what kind of quality that they have in there livestock but I know that there is a few places here in denver that will blow you away on there prices and quality.
Here are some of my favorites...
mile high aquariums(best overall)...wadsworth and bowles
great barrier reef(fish and drygoods)...santa fe and oxford
reef and pond...(Steve Chang..the owner is the best person in town for corals)...santa fe and evans---just south of evans

I bought my tank (established) from a person
who was geting it serviced through oceans apart.
I bought it 2 years ago for $1500.00 with the hylides, chiller 100 pounds l/r, acrylic tank and all!!had them service it for 6 months so I could learn the basics from them.
It worked out great.
I have added alot of stuff since then
I know they are exspensive!!
They cater to people who have their tanks serviced
by them.
I have been to all the stores to and I am thinking about shopping around but I want to get a Q-tank before I do
I like steve at reef and pond, His set-up is simple but nice.
