green or rose bta?

I bought this anemone about 2 months ago. When I bought him I was told he was a green bta, but he's never been green. He's always been a rosey-brown. He's not lost his color at all since I've had him. The color in the pics is lighter than he actually is. So can anyone tell me what exactly he is? He eats well, only closes up if a shrimp is bothering him, and only shrivels up when he's expelling waste.
Thanks!

I am guessing just a bland rose. It is in no way green and my rbta is way way brighter and more red colored than that. I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't good looking at the store!

I only paid $24 for it so I'm not concerned. I just wanted to get an anemone for my clowns. They took to it after a couple days but unfortunetly I accidently committed fishacide. I have a pair of clowns in QT right now and I can't wait till I can put them in my DT next month. Hope they take to "Davy Jones" like my other clowns did.

I would say this is just a regular bubble tip. I have seen all sorts of colors; white, pink, green, brown, etc...
The regular bta's are cheaper than the green and rose but 24 bucks isn't bad as long as you and your clown are happy;)
What does it look like under your moon/actinic lights? The colors usually amplify then.

I agree that it's probably a Green (possibly a brown). I have two GBTAs that are far more brown than green and always have been that way. I also have a RBTA and that is DEFINITELY not a RBTA, it would be much redder, even if it were faded.
And if you didn't pay a million dollars like most LFS want for a RBTA, that's another indicator that it's not. Although, I only paid like $40 for my 7-8" RBTA but that's because I know the owner, lol.
Either way, it's a bubble tip anemone and they all get cared for the same way...
