green plate corals, do they need to be spot fed?

they have a plate coral at my lfs that is green and appears to look just liek the green plate on this site. they also have an orange that looks just like the green.
they have mouths, and on this site it just says strong light, current etc.
anyone know if these guys need to eat?

I spot feed mine about once a week maybe twice

I never feed mine, and it is going on 4 years in my tank. i use to spot feed it, but i got tired of beating the cleaner shrimp away, so now it fends for itself and does fine.
