If you mean a Green Star Polyp - they can take a few days to open up. When I first got mine it didn't open for about 4 days. Give it time to adjust and it will be fine. Really the only time you have to worry about them is if the mat starts to change colors and turn white.

PH 7.8 - should be closer to 8.2
*Amon .25 - should be at 0
*Nitri .1 - should be at 0
*nitra 20ppm - not horrible but if the GSP was comming from a tank with trates then that could be a problem
SpG 1.024 - coulbe be at 1.025 or 1.026 but is perfectly fine
Cal 400 - good
How old is your tank? did it cycle? If so why are some of the levels so high?

I didn't clean my Crushed coral substrate for that hole year. I just started cleaning with a vacum siphon. And i just started testing the levels with a really reef lab not a fresh/saltwater kit.
:(

There are a few things that can bring it up (and down if you get it to high)but the one i used (and it worked) was PROPER PH 8.2 dont know who it is made by or if it is even that good of a product but it worked for me.
Its up to you but i would get that crushed coral out of the tank because they can trap trates and everything else(as you can see from your levels
), but i would switch to ls. You can get some sand sifters and never ever siphon again
