I have been getting green slimy stuff on on the outlets of my HOB protin skimmer and HOB filter and bio-wheel, also it is covering my live sand. What can I do to make my sand white again, is there a tratment, a fish or invert I can buy. I started using RO water from wal-mart, before when i used well water I never had the problem, but also I didn't have a 250w MH at the time, could that be my problem. How long should I be leaving it on.
