Why do I have green stuff on the glass that covers up the tank and I have to use the magnet thing to clean it up.
I test everything and they're at 0 and Nitrate is at 2.
I have a 90 gallon tank with four corals. A very few small fish. I am using RO/DI water.
Anyone know why we have green stuff on the glass?
Thanks for your help.

There is a strong chance that it is algae. No matter how clean your water is you're going to have some algae growth.

you'll never get rid of it. It's part of maintaining a tank if you have lights you will have algae. We all deal with it.

I take a mag float to the front of the glass and its as far as the sides/back go... algae can do whatever it wants there :p I use ro and keep up with everything so if I get ANY algae growth its only a small film and nothing more.

I had a bad break out once. I wrapped phosphate filter media around the bottom of my power head, and the problem was managable in two days
