I have 55 gal. tank. In this tank I have a variety of different corals, as well as, a variety of inverts and fish. The trouble I am having is the green that grows above and beyond my cleaners. Is this maybe due to too much lighting? I have a 24" Coralife light with 10,000 white 65w blue and 4 moonlights. I have tried like hell to get the timer to do what I want it to, however, have failed so I run the timing manually. 5:30 am - 8:30 am and 6:30 pm - 9:30pm I run the blues. From 9:30 pm - 5:30 am I run the moonlights. And the rest of the time I run the white lights. Am I over doing the light, causing more algea to grow then what can be handled?

I run the same lights as you I think (2 10k's and 2 actinics, right - 260W total - corallife?)
And I run mine overtop of a 55 also.
Honestly, this sounds like a water quality issue to me.
1)How often are you doing water changes?
2)What kind of powerheads and filters do you have
3)What kind of salt do you use?
4)What kind of water are you using
5)What is your cleanup crew
6)What fish and corals are in your tank
7)Post your water results
