Green water!!!!!

My friends tank has green water and he did a 75% water change and it cleared up and now its green again. Anyone can help I would like hear from you thanks.

Need more info on the tank, ex. inhabitants, equipment, history, ect...

Sounds like a nitrate/Phospate problem to me. Are you using tap water?

ahh the good old pea soup... I had this problem with a tank that I set up using tap water.. I spent alot of money and tried everything.. finally I tried a snake oil called. "corallife marine tank clarifier" in one treatment it got rid of the pea soup and I found an awesome growth of coralline algae... I dont like snake oil. but this one worked great for me.. just make sure you have good mechanical filters and a skimmer.
