my water is green. what is the best way to fix this, with out spending a lot of money.

green from what did something die?what water tests have you done and the results and what lighting do you have,are you over feeding?

Couple water changes should help a lot. If you have a skimmer make sure its running.

is this a fish only tank? try running uv to get rid of the green water.

How do you get green water? I don't mean to sound rude, but have you ever done a water change?

Dear hobbyist ,If your aquarium is near a window where sunlight shines directly onto your aquarium , your water will turn green .If this is the case you must move your aquarium to another location where sunlight doesn't shine onto it . If this is not the case ,try a water change and reduce the amount of lighting . Good Luck !
