Green Wellsi?

I have a large green wellsi that I've had for a couple months and it's doing great in my 125g but I want to move it over to my 24g aquapod, we're moving, long story..
The aquapod has NO mods, so stock lights, etc... will the wellsi be ok under PC's? Or will it die, or shrivel if not under MH's?
thanks!!

Blastos are low light corals adn should be3 just fine under pcs. I have bunch in my 24 under only 72 w and they are constantly budding new baby corals. For the best color though, you shuold have actinic lights too.

Perfect. It doesnt even need to be too close to the lights to thrive. Mine came from tanks with MH and none of them are on the top half of my tank. One grew 9 new babies in the first 2 months I had it.

so the first pic is from over a month ago and the 2nd is from today
I can't really get a good shot from above to see his mouths
it still has that color - the second pic is bad photo taking

Hye bud. that is not a blastomusa wellsi. It is a open brain coral. Wellsophyllia, scientifically. I can totally see the misinterpretation. Nonetheless, I have no idea how these guys reproduce, but do know they can be fragged with a wet tile saw. Tehy have the same requirements as blastos, light and flow. They can also get quite big. Mine actually serves as a host for my clown. Nice pic, sorry for the confusion before. Heres mine

You know, I was wondering if we were talking about the same thing... especially when you mentioned polyps, my bad - I know it's a brain, out of habit I just call it the Wellsi (short for scientific name) lol
Yours looks great!!
thanks again!!
