Anyone try them? Last week these guys came to my house and told me they had a cancellation and had a lot of cases of meats and seafood to get rid of....WELL to make a long story short I bought a case of steaks for $125...They had seafood too, BUT I still had a doggie in the hospital and didn't want to spend that much money
this was the package

? 4-6

Bone In Strips

$53.75

? 6-8

NY Sirloin Strip

$55.10

? 8-10

Bacon-Wrapped Filet

$71.50

? 4-6

Ribeyes

$68.60

? 8-10

KC Sirloin Strip

$53.60

? 18-24

Chopped Beef Steaks

$36.45

54-64

6-Pack Case Special

$339.00

I have to say the steaks were large, BUT....not too crazy about them so far....I have tried the bone-in strips....found fat and grizzle
the bacon wrapped filets....used 3...2 were ok...1 was a little tough
and the siroin strips....they were so-so
as much as they are LARGER then Omaha Steaks....you can not compare the quality....BUT FOR $125..I got about 30 lbs of meat....
after the game we will be having the other 2 bone in strips.....I'm starving and they have been marinating all day.....I might eat the fat and all....LOL

Unfortunately, I have read articles about these guys, and they pretty much use low-quality meats to make these steaks and such they sell. If you want high-quality meat, check around your area for local cattle farms and ranches. They offer the opportunity to purchase a half or quarter of a cow that you can cut up any way you like. You can ground meat for hamburger, get T-Bones, Top Sirloin, Roasts, etc. Normal costs is anywhere between $2.50 - $3.50/lb. Only problem you have is a freezer big enough to hold it all.

lol, that is ALWAYS the story... They hit us up, once or twice a week.
My folks did that once. Got some chicken, beef etc. IMO might as well been grounded up into dog food. That meat they buy is grocery store reject stuff. And I don't really like even the "select" cuts of meat that the grocery stores sell.
Now I go to a local meat market, they have STUUUPIDDDDLY amazing steaks. Like top shelf stuff. I've picked up supposed "prime" steaks from the grocery store, like $ 20 lb cuts. And they're good. But now, at this meat market, their cuts are even better and about 10-13 bucks a pound, for even better pieces of meat.

Considering you live in Oklahoma, how fresh do you think the seafood is? Can't exactly bring it to you "straight from the dock". You're better off having stdreb overnight you some stuff from Corpus.

In corpus? lol, corpus has some of the worst selection of seafood ever. I used to get fresh oysters 5 dollar a dozen off season in a restaurant. Here on happy hour in season, I'm lucky if I get em for 7. Never mind shrimp. The ONLY way to get fresh shrimp is to get em fresh off the boat. But they come in around 11 or 12. So I'm at work then. arrr. At least, I can go catch some fresh fish.
