You can feed saltwater fare from your seafood deli... scallops, FRESH tuna (not canned), mussels, table shrimp. There's lots you can buy at the market. Just read the label if you get frozen to make sure it's 100% fish product. Some have additives you don't want.

and make sure its not cooked,,, it takes alot of the nutrients out,, buy any light colored fish/white like mackerel or flounder are good, some of the darker/pink have alot of fatty acids in them that need to be kept at a minimal quantity like salmon,, though thats a very expensive fish ,lol.
I usually buy mussels/oysters, fish/squid leggs and shrimp when they are on sale and freeze them in sandwich size bags for feeding, you could also chop them up before freezing them (or put them in the blender).. MUCH CHEAPER!!!

I have heard that nori sheets work for herbivorous and omnivorous

Unseasoned, raw Laver and Nori. Most of these fish are omnivores but require algae in their diet. I only say that so you don't just feed them algae sheets.

If you have a grocery store in your area that caters to the Asian community, you may find Nori or other seaweeds there.
If you only have a standard grocery store in your area, you may be out of luck on veggies.
I am assuming you are not referring to veggies like carrots that are sometimes added to "blender food" for it's carotenoids.

no i know enough not to put peas and carrots in the tank
. so basicly i need to find weeds from the ocean then only? i didnt know if i could use greens that only a cook would pick up from the store that most of us dont even know what it is.

I have heard of removing the centers stalks out of Romaine Hearts and putting in the green leafy parts for fish like tangs.
Anyone do that on the boards?

I don't see anything wrong with using lettuce, broccoli, squash, etc. as a treat occationally. I wouldn't recommend using plants as a staple food for animals that naturally consume algae though even if they are omnivores. IMO they are very well adapted for consuming algae, not plants.
