Grouper

Ok I may have dreamed this up, but is there a grouper called a blue spot. If so does anyone know anything about them(how hardy, how big they get) and does anyone have a picture?

yea These are typical grouper, very hardy.This fish is easy to keep mainly because it eats everything. They grow about 19 inches and need like at least a 75 gallon tank.

You should find plenty of info on the net. They are one of the more common grouper species. The largest they'd probably get in the home aquarium is 12", but they could get larger. I'd say a 125 would be better than a 75 for one. Bo

By blue spot, do you mean miniatus grouper?

Miniatus groupers are orange or red with blue spots. They're different.
