Main return-1200gph
Koralia #4 -1200gph x 2
Koralia #2 -600gph
So total flow for now is 4200gph or 46x turnover.

I'm running a BB tank but I'm going back to having a 3" sand bed in my new 150 gal as a lot of fish I want and some corals need a sand bed to live in or on.

grouper lookin good!
be careful with that socket so close to all the water works down below there. you should switch out that socket for a GFCI socket.
oh yea and main return is probably 1200 GPH at 0', you need to calculate it for max head height, and other water friction points, so it is likely closer to 800 gph. the manual that the pump came with should tell you. or look it up online.

No jawfish or wrasses for this tank.

Thanks n00b. I try to keep all the cords looped so if any water runs down them it drips off the bottom of the loop. Unfortunately the crappy builders we had did a lousy job wiring the house. My GFIs trip like crazy. I thought about changing it out, but would hate to come home time after time after work with everything shut off.
Upside, if the house burns down, I can rebuild how I really want it.

I don't know if I can totally credit my Euro-Reef skimmer or not. Since I got it running last night, my nitrates have dropped from 20 to 15. If trates drop down more by tomorrow night, I'll get CUC and a couple fish this weekend. After a 10 gallon water change of course.

you wanna know something stupid, crazy, i bought a blue spot jaw fish, spent 125,00 on it (faois) in olds mar, and threw it in the 144 half circle, then relized that it was BB, well 1 year later and its still happy, or just waiting for some parrot fish to enter, lol.

That guy is absolutely awsome Fedel. If your letting it go, let me know. Actually I did notice a wrasse in your 175 bowfront BB. Maybe a Leaopard wrasse of some sort. My wife fell in love with it.

Oh yea baby. The lights and powerheads showed up today.

I'm jacked up like a spider monkey on Mountain Dew.

Suddenly I'm not feelin' too well. I may have to leave work early.

They do allright. They disperse the flow nicely so it's not just a directed blast. I wish that they made bigger ones like maybe 2000-2500gph though. If one goes out, I'll break out the bucks and try a Tunze next time.

Hey Laz. Yep, I'm moving some more out of the 15 this afternoon. I need to get a good algae muncher or 2. I'm getting some green hair growing on one rock that is wedged in the middle.
Maybe a Tang or something.
BTW Laz. Thanks for the big green Palys on some of those rocks.
