Growing fish.

What are idea conditions and food to get fish to grow quickly to there full potential?
I swicthed recently to feeding my fish silver sides and shoped up clams. My water temprature is about 78-80 and my nitrate score is around 10-20.

the healthier the fish, the better it will live and grow.
nitrates could be a bit lower IMO, maybe 5-10

actually. i cant really get them any lower no matter how hard i try. My tank is overstocked. i will be upgradeing soon.

try amonia and nitrate removal sponges just make sure you change them weekly if you dont they ill leach back the chemicals back into your system.as for making your fish grow to full size faster only time itself can achieve that effect.but daily feeding will help them grow at a normal rate.give a wide variety of foods regular water changes and filter media replacements. will keep your parimeters in check.eash species has a differerent growth rate so dont expect all to double or triple in size equally.
