I have just purchased 50 lbs. of live rock and was wondering if someone could tell me the best thing that I can get to make my rock begin to grow and look good. Thanks.

Live rock doesn't grow. They call it live because of the little critters, bacteria, and such on it.

I always say my live rock is growing also...I am sure you meant the stuff on the rock.... :)
A nice comment.....
Light, water parameters, and water movement.. Get these in line and rock (organisms) on the rock will flourish.

Yeah that's what I meant. I was just trying to see what would be the best for it to start producing good algae and plants.

if you just got in the mail, you probably have to cure it.. some die off may have occured while in transit. while you cure it, you could start turning the lights on it, if you want to "grow" the live rock.. start out with less light and less duration and gradually increase it...
