Growth on L Rock

I posted earlier about purple stuff growing over LR and on top of the corraline.
I have some better pics now.
It is darker than corraline and when I scrape it off it goes down th the bare rock. Anyone know what it is, it is only growing on 2 bits but is spreading.

Is it hard or soft. If its hard. I would say another type of corraline. There are many different types and colors. I had some nice orange and some velverty looking red.
If it is soft it could be some type of sponge.

It sorta looks velvety but is hard to scrape off. I tried a bit with a metal knife and it took the rock down to bare rock.

I see on your pic, the same white chalky stuff I have on my LR that is cycling. ( my kids are calling it the polar Icecaps lol)I have read it's coraline die-off, if yours did this how long before this new growth?
I am done cylcling ( I think) 75g 90# argo sand, 25#LS, 70# LR pre-cured, Am0 Nitraite0 Nitrate5 Salti28 SP Grav 1.021 temp 79.1 PH8.2 have 2 damseils and 6 snails. But it seems to soon. 2.5 weeks. I'm scared to add a fish, I have had this reading for 3 days. Should I wait till the die off is gone? And have new growth, I want to add a small False perc. How long should I wait? ( sorry for adding a ? to your post.)

If it is soft as you say and if when you scrape it, it floats off, then it could by cyno bacteria or more commonly red slime
