so about a month ago I bought a beautiful candy cane coral.. it had a pretty little purple mushroom upon it.. last night I decided I would slice it off, cut it in half and start two new frags.. tightly place them around a rock with rubberband.. was so pleased with myself..this morning both frags are missing..little buggers..hope they turn up..

I can tell you where they are right now. In the back of the tank where you can not see them. Thats where they always wind up. Had the same thing happen. Put a hose on the end of a power head and see if you can stir things up back there and chase them out, its worked for me in the past.

Mine have disappeared for days, sometimes weeks, then a good water change or cleaning with ph brings them out eventually, hopefully yours will remerge.

I found one..in the middle of my cup coral.. funny little critters..glad to know it happens to the best of us..
