GSM clown

I have a HUGE GSM clown...shes like 3.5 inches long...shes very protective of her BTA...even nipoping at my fingers if I get too close....at the LFS they have some small GSMC's for 16$....do you think that she's end up killing it even if I do it slowly like people say. Put it in a smaller container for a week or so and then let him go with the container still in the tank? or should I just trade her in and get 2 small ones and hope they take to each other? any ideas?

i've done the cage method several times with success. you just have to be patient and don't let the small one take unnecessary abuse by letting it out early. make sure the new comer is no longer than inch and a half.

thanks for your imput...did you get them to actually breed or just pair up?

paired up. they used to sleep in the same anemone, well technically they still do because my rbta split and now they each sleeps in a half
