GSP in hiding, I know it's normal, but....

Huge colony of these metallic GSP's have been doing great. Today, maybe 5% of them are open. I know it's normal for them to hide for a few days, but I thought ALL of them would hide. I tested the water. Everything is good, except trates are around 25. I don't think this would affect the GSP so fast. I'm going to do a water change in a minute. Fill me in on what should be done. Thanx!

something probally disturbed them and they will hide for a day or so. They ALL should be back soon. I would not stress out over it. Just crack open a cold one

As he said it could be days. Youll see patches of them open up before others. Give them time and they will all open. My greens took a week at least and even then they were half open and not very full. They will emerge. If you see the colony turn white or start to peel off the rock some then worry....
