GSP mat

I just got some GSP online and haalf the mat is not attached to the base anymore. Can I pull the rest of the mat off and rubberband or glue them to a rock I want them on? Same with some zoos I got they broke off and were free floating so I pinned them down to a rock. What should I do with them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, I've used a rubber band on mats, and polyps, should be fine.

So it's ok to pull the rest of the piece of mat off? And the zoos should I leave them as I have them or should I strap them down too? They are partially touching the rock I have them on.

If you wish to pull what is left of the mat off an place it where you would like then you can do that, if it comes off for you. The zoos can be strapped to a rock of your choosing, much like I did here with this one. Or you can strap it to a rock until the zoos help to colonize the other rock, then seperate them.
