Wow, I had to look twice at this. Three times !!
Looks like some kind of anemone mimicing my GSPs.
Not great pics but is this aiptasia or what ? Looks like a baby green bubble tip.
I have a LTA and two Maroon BTAs. I dont know if there is such a thing as a Green BTA.
Im going to leave it alone and see how it grows but I thought it was cool how it appeared in the stars like purposly mimicing them.
Just thought I would share and if anyone has comments, please do.

Looks like a majano to me. You can let it grow but be aware 1 can turn into 20 really quick. One of the prettier nuisance anemones though.

"baby green bubble tip" = majano. Classic description  So I will third the identification of Majano anemone.

Do you think it purposely made its way to the GSPs as a mimic/ camafloge/ survival technic or just happen chance ?? This is whats so intresting to me. Are they commonly found among them ?

I think it's a coincidence. They can and do appear anywhere they want. But more importantly...
Somebody's spelling it wrong and I want to know which it is...
Me or everybody else?? :D

like shoreliner said.... they multiply quick. if you can suck the whole thing up with a turkey baster then you'd be ok, if not, get the chemical and a needle they have specially made for aiptasia. good luck

I'm currently battling an outbreak of majano anemones that have just started appearing after I finally got the aiptasia infestion under control. The first one I saw was hiding in a zoanthid colony and at first I thought I discovered a baby BTA in my tank: wrong!!!
Joe's Juice worked well on the aiptasia, and it seems to kill the majanos just as well. I also added an army of peppermint shrimp to eat whatever I can't get at.
