GSP Question

Greetings....Now that my Flower pot is totally gone...I was thinking about getting a GSP, which is what I wanted in the first place and just thought the lfs had the flower pot mislabled...Anyways, is there anything special that I need to know (Feeding????) before I get one????

I've never fed my GSP. Keep in mind that they spread rapidly. Mine has become a major pain in the butt, it is trying to take over.

About the only thing you will need to know is how to frag it! They don't really require anything more than the basics, somewhat decent water quality and a decent amount of light.

Moderate to high flow, preferably with a wavemaker. they will turn into almost a nuisance in to time at all.

If the flow is too high they won't open. Mine wouldn't open when I had the wavemaker on.
Just my experience though.

I agree with everyone above. But they are a nice color and they do need to be fragged about every two weeks. I use the frags to buy more coral from work. :cheer:

I have mine blasting with flow, almost constant, and they grow like mad. I do however have a different kind, a little more yellowish, and they don't like as much direct flow.
