There are Red Reef Lobsters too... one or our LFS has them ALL THE TIME!

That lobster does get farely large, over a foot by some estimates. He will most likely go after snails at some point in time. A client of the lfs I work at had one and man did it grow fast. In the 3 months or so I serviced the tank, I saw 2 maybe 3 molts. He was about 6inch long but he gained probably at least an inch in the time and his antennae stretched close to 2 feet across. He was in a 240gal reef by the way. Beautiful lobster nonetheless.

Had one in our 180. Was the biggest star when ppl would look at teh tank(was always out in daytime and night). Was a demon to snail/hermit pop and lord knows what else. Molted 7 times in one year.
Was just in cozumel and saw one almost 2 feet tail to head.
Think they are called "Spiny Blue Lobster"
