although it did not survive the shipping, but it was a baby stingray. Actually pretty sad to think about. I can't wait to see what survived the shipping. On at least 1/2 of the rock, there's up to 6 different colors of coraline. The other 1/2 have at least 2 or 3 different colors. Purple, orange, bright pink, blue, white, green, red, and black?

Tonga Live Rock. Not much die off at all.
Poor little guy's body was about the size of a silver dollar and had a pretty long tail.

Was the LR from here? We are going to be getting some fish here in the next few months for a new tank and was thinking about the LR also. I have heard nothing but good things so far. Can't beat free shipping.
Too bad about the baby :( hate to hear of anything that doesn't survive the transfers. (wasn't a horseshoe crab was it?)

Sad to hear about the ray.
It's always fun and a little scary to see what come in with the live rock.

Nope, didn't get from here. It is deepwater Tonga. Definately was a ray. As far as the black, I thought it was die off but I'm not sure because it's really hard and you can't peel it or brush it off.
Lovethesea...I'm in Nixa, near Springfield. E-mail me and I'll tell you where I got it from.
