guitar hero all its cracked up to be?

the game REALLY is all its cracked up to be... on several different levels... its interactive... if you love music then what else is better than virtually playing a song you enjoy... its challenging... there are 4 different levels each of them progressively harder and the songs get progressively harder as you go down the track list... its multi player... it teaches timing and finger dexterity... its great for the memory... and ANY age can enjoy the game... my 5 year old and I play it all the time... it blows away some of my friends that have played it a handful of times (on easy) that he can beat the more difficult songs on medium... he has beaten one song on hard...easy - 3 fret buttons - green red yellow- notes are far apart and no double or triples...
medium - 4 fret buttons - add the blue - notes come a little faster few doubles no triples...
hard - all 5 fret buttons - notes are pretty much spot on with the guitar in the song lots of doubles and triples and some crazy conversions...
expert - all 5 fret buttons - just insane supposedly just as hard as playing a real guitar as far as strumming and notes you have to play... doubles and triples are abundant...
i have all four GH games and still paly all of em... it just doesnt get old...
after all of that i would have to say that Rock Band is more fun with more people... but that is the only way... atleast 3 people...

It is a very fun game but its nothing like playing an actual guitar.
It is definately not anything like playing a real guitar, but I think the fact that I have been playing guitar for 10 years helped me. I beat easy without losing at any of the songs. I beat medium with 5 stars on all songs and hit 100% notes on 33 out of 42 songs in medium.
Hard is pretty insane, but I think I will get the hang of it before long.

i cany play expert on the first 26 songs....but the best way to finish the songs is to only play the keys that you know and eventually and a few more keys in each time you play the song that how i do it when i get stuck.....but i no longer play guitar hero my lil cousin took it away from me lol..but it is a great game

well i did get it and have been playing...on medium now...tried a very higher levels but good grief thats hard...but its fun, i like it.
Other games I like, Fire Emblem:radiant dawn...i have mario galaxy but i'm not sure yet if i really like it that much....and metroid prime i havent started playing yet.
