Most tuners are designed to tune to the open string in standard tuning (e,a,d,g,b,e). They usually give an indication by an LED (if it's a digital tuner) or by a needle (analog). I took a look at Quik Tune on the web & it looks like you want to get the "box" around the string you are tuning, pluck the string & then get the needle in the middle. Then select the next string (place the "box" around the applicable string) and repeat. HTH. Hattrick
