How often do you change out the water??
About a month ago my Phos. level was way off and I did my first water change. (3 Gal. one of the perks to haveing a nano!!) Also added some LFS No-Phos which worked great.
I think once a month will do it, i am kind of playing it by ear though.

I do one at least once a week. Usually only people with bigger tanks do it once a month. I think if i did mine once a month my nitrates would be way too high.

both of you have nice tanks. demartini- everytime you posts pictures your tank has different stuff in it. but it always looks awesome. i have a 10 gal disp. with a jury riged 10 gal sump. thats whats fun about little tanks. there easy to set up, and if you buy something small and it grows to much you trade it out for something else. in my tank i have
1 LM blenny
1 green chromis
1 orange angler (so awesome)
corals
green bubble
pearl bubble
small hammer
2 green open brains
gsp
blue ricordea
orange sun coral
kenya tree
zoos
both your tanks look really nice tho.
and they say smaller is harder

i have some pictures in the early stages of the tank. but none as it is now. also i just had a friend start taking it down today to move into my 75 which has been running about 7 months. ive been trying to get the water parameters almost exactly the same, and it took a little longer than expected. ill try to post some pics when i get home. im outa the country. and prayin everythings alive when i get home. the only bad part about reefs is when you leave you take a huge risk.

both your tanks are really nice tho.

No, I did not use the light that came with it. I took out the old ballast and set 2 nine inch PC's on top of a piece of plexiglass, layed across the top of the tank. The lights are 18 Watts each and a friend of mine who has been at this a while said that this would be enough light for most corals. Each light was like 40 bucks, so for 80$ you can have plenty of light and everything tucks up under the original lid.
Here is a pic. sorry it is kind if dark. I will take a better one with the lid off and show you how i have it.
