Yeah, but I had a lot to do with that as I have the Arai RX-7 corsair Wraith
I've had several friends crash test them and they said it felt like a pillow when there head hit the ground. Another friend crashed in an ICON and he said it felt like someone hit him in the head with a baseball bat. All crashes are different though. I borrowed these images from another forum I am on where one of the guys (not someone I know personally) hit a BMW X5 head on. He is fine and suffered a black eye and some broken teeth. If you notice the mouth vent it missing. It was in the grill of the BMW.
I've been sold on Arai for years but any dot/snell helmet is good. I also have never worn anything but a full face helmet. According to a German study by Otte and Felton, 34.6% of all impacts to helmets in crashes occurred to the full face bar.
