Ha! Got my damsel!!!!!

Okay, finally i was ably to catch my damsel to return it to the LFS! Here is how i did it for everyone out there that had to empty thrie LR to get them out;
leave on one low wattage light (i have 3 seperate fixtures), open one side of the glass canopy, have net in hand just above the surface of the water, have a friend drop in 2 flakes of food(we all know they can not resist!), then use your stealth skills and speed to swoop down with the net and trap him in the net up against the glass....
this workd for me, glad i didn't have to remove the LR.

Unfortunately it's not always that simple. Not all damsels are stupid enough to fall for that.

if they are hungry enough. that will work. I cought mine by myself. flake in one hand... net in the other. Contrats on a good catch!

I am jealous. I have the Houdini of Damsels. I tried that technic, as well as traps and other contraptions and still he is swimming around, attacking everything that moves. I swear he gives me the "fin" as I walk by...

i did catch one that way also it took a month or trying, i was good for a single one timer a day then he figured it out.....congrats.....it's a great feeling
