are those really RPE? They look like OPE to me. they got that dark disk around the mouth. Whatever they are they are amazing

They're red... not a hint of orange on them. OPEs are not local to Hawaii, RPEs are. Not a lot of people are used to seeing the "true" RPEs, just the regular ones people try to pass off as "true".
The pic you see is my lame attempt at a top down photo. lame because i didn't shut off the powerhead or use a box. lol
