haddoni carpet anemone

i just basically want to know the care level for these guys and any experiences with them. i am asking because i have seen a web site that said its the easiest anemone to care for another one that said difficult care and another that said moderate...

LOL...don't you just love the info out there....Everything contradicts everything..lol
ANYWAY..carpets..like all anemones need excellent water quality and excellent lights
BUT...Carpets tend to grow big and eat your fish....

well i have been planning to get an anemone and been practicing keeping pristine water conditions with weekly water changes and im not afraid of it eating other fish b/c im planning on just keepin my pair of skunk clowns, corals, and this anemone which should also make keeping the water clean easier with less fish

well turns out i wont order the hadonni till next week cuz thursday-friday night i have to help move my sister back into her college dorm room for the year

but yeah this gives me more time to be sure about my hadonni purchase

definitely the easiest of the carpets, but IMO a BTA is much easier to care for.
most people lump all of the carpet anemones together, but theuy all have very different needs. HAdoni is pretty easy to care for, but there are reports of eating fish. S.gigantea is not nearly as likely to eat your fish, but they have one of the worst records of survivability in our aquaria. They have very specific needs that are far different from the hadoni. S. mertensi, simply gets HUGE. Too large for most tanks.
gigantea = 22"
hadoni = 28"
mertensi = 36"

i had a gigantea that did fantastic but it was a fish killer. i lost a clown, a jawfish, and and angel to it before i gave it away

well it looks like ill be leaning towards the BTA because its going in a 29 gallon biocube. thank you lord rod for answering my most humble question

I wouldn't keep 2 in a 29G...That is just my opinion of course

the thing i am afraid of though is that the single anemone between the skunks and the gold stripped maroon might spark some fighting and i dont wanna do the since they are all best friends now

Im more suprised your maroon hasnt killed the skunks in a 29? they are VERY territorial and may not be big enough yet to woop up on them but they will not last long in a 29g tank together.
