hair algae galor!!!

hey everyone I just added 36 more watts onto my 35 gallon which already had a 130 watt pc fixture on it and I got a big bloom of hair algae and want/NEED to get rid of it!! my question is what eats this or gets rid of it the current stock list is........
1 Cherub Angelfish
1 Blue Spotted Puffer
1 Neon Goby
1 Yellow Clown Goby
2 hermits
1 peppermint shrimp
1 camelback shrimp that I hate with a passion cause it always eats my zoos!!! and I cant catch the lil

1 rock of discoma mushrooms (rock is a lil bigger than a good sized hand.....if that helps)
- but what eats this crap it makes me mad and it has control over the whole left side of the tank to!!

hmmmm...so how old is your system? Do you, and have you used RO exclusively? Is your tank out of direct sunlight. Have you taken a Phosphate test?? How big is your tank, and how are your other water parameters??
Sorry, just got myself through all of that business...so far no algea here. I did water changes, 10%/week, I tried the filter media stuff that didn't do much of anything. What seemed (I reiterate "seemed") to help was to put some chaeto algea (fist sized) into my main tank...slow but sure...I'm at 0...zero phosphates. It really is a hit and miss thing. Try things that are suggested on this site, but most importantly, let those things take time to work...not gonna happen over night. I bet it took my tank 3-4 months to finally get rid of the stuff..so patience is the key.

make sure you don't overfeed, excess nutrients fuel that stuff.
use RO water for changes and top offs.
good flow also gets junk on the bottom suspended into the water column to be filtered.
you might want to add some more hermits to your clean up crew.
