Hair Algae In Recession

I think my hair algae is in recession. It's turning to a brownish color in my tank, and it's not spreading anymore... It was only one like 3 rocks, but still. Does hair algae turn brown when it's dying?

I think mine is goin brown too! it's not REALLY green anymore, maybe st pattys' day took the green out of it! LOL

mine turned brown 2 weeks ago and i pulled it all out....and it never came back!

Thank God!!! I'm going to pull as much out as I can with the next water change and hope it never comes back!

yeap thats what it looks like and if you have a fuge grab all of the hair algea and throw it in there
