hair algae?

I started a new 20 gal tank about 10 days ago and now I have what I think is a hair algae outbreak. What do you all think? If it is hair what should I do or not do about it? Thanks Mike

While cycling you really don't need your lights on unless you have liverock, and even then you don't need them on for long hours. Cut back your lighting, use only RO or DI water.

Is this the same as string algae? If it is, I used barley straw in my fresh water pond outside, I dont know if you can use it in saltwater though. It doesnt get rid of what you have, but it prevents you from getting it again.
