:help: I got hair algea awhile ago, and got rid of it with a tooth brush and and nitrate bag ( forgot name). But at the time I only had LR. Now that I have corals, I seem to have got it agian...only problem is...I did the worst thing EVER!
Heres what happend!
I have placed all my LR and corals in a distict manner so that they dont fall (seems to be a problem I have had lately). So when I saw a lil patch of hair algea on my rock, I took a tooth brush and scrubbed it off ( yes still in the tank). And when I woke up the next morning ... it was every where! I did such a rookie thing! I cant belive I would do such a thing! I must have been so busy I didnt think about the outcome!
So! Now I have hair algae on my green stars and ricordia and every thing! What do I do! I mean you can't "scrub" it off the corals!:scared:
And so I am freaking out that all my investment will be run over with it..
Note: I have reef cleaning kit with turbo snails and such..what I need is a chemical of somthing that will further assist me other that a stupid tooth brush:nope:
