Halmedia question

I woke up this morning to a cloudy tank. Very unusual considering I haven't had any problems in a long time. My question is, does halmedia go sexual and screw up the water like caleurpa? I notice the halmedia is white when the lights first come on in the morning, then turns green. Thanks. COOP.

COOP, I'm not sure about the sexual question( lol) but I do have Halmedia. It is always very pale to almost whiteish before lights on in the a.m. Then quickly greens up as soon as it gets light. From what I have read this is absolutely normal for this species of algae.

Got home from work late last night and the water was crystal clear. Even further boggling my mind as to why it was cloudy yesterday morning. Oh well, all is good now.
