Is this possible?
Here's what I'm thinking. I have an old style hang on overflow filter that has a built in skimmer. I'm not sure if it even works properly, but if it does can I simply add macro/mangrove and use this as a temporary fuge? It should hold at least 1lb of macro with ample room to add more or simply let it grow.
If the built in skimmer works should I use it or just leave it be?
I do have a POS Visi-Jet skimmer, but it's just too big for the 5gal. I'll be using down the road.
I can really use the help on this one because I've never ran or even considered a fuge prior to this week.
