I am looking at the AquaC for a 55 gallon in sump or hang on sump protein skimmer.
I dont think I have a very large sump w/ an amiracle wet/dry filter and will maybe purchase a hang on sump skimmer.
Please share recommendations and experience.
Thanks!!

I use the Aqua C Urchin Pro on my 90. The Urchin is the in-sump version of the remora pro. I also use an Aqua C EV180 on my 155. I love the Aqua C. The in-sump is definitely preferrable to hang-ons if you can fit it in your sump. The urchin has a small foot print
Good Luck

What do you mean by footprint??

footprint -- size it takes up. The urchin is approx 7" by 5" and has an in-sump pump attached by a tube (so that has to fit as well. I would reccommend, regardless of the model you choose to put the pump away from the output of the skimmer. Otherwise you'll be pumping into the skimmer a lot of the "cleaned" water you just put into the sump.
Good Luck
