Hang On Wet/Dry Filter Help

i have an amiracle sl5 hang on wet/dry...my problem is such...the protein skimmer has a hole in it that looks like it could be connected to a tubing to then run off into another collection cup...i remember on my 180 gallon tank i bought a separate collection aside from teh one attached to my skimmer. i cant seem to find one online, can anyone help me?

Is the hole on top of the collection cup? That would probably just be an air vent.

nah, the hole where you would hook it up with tubing to another collection cup...it came w/ith a cover to close up the hole, but of course i lost it, so i wanted to know what else would suffice as a cover.

Tupperware lids, take your skimmer cup with you shopping and you'll find one.
