hang on wet/dry???

I was wondering if anyone had used a particular thing i saw called an Amiricale hang on wet dry. Combination skimmer on one side then a large chamber filled with the bio balls on the other.?? Its a bunch of money so I thought I'd check with you guys first.

if you ask me, that thing is a huge waste of money. the skimmer design is garbage, and the overall design sump itsef is crap. if that return pump goes, your screwed! time to bust out the mop.

Ditto except for the flood part. By their design, hang on the backs won't flood if the pump goes.
Plus they are not really upgradable if you get a bigger tank. You can't stick any hardware in them either, not much anyway.
Even normal Amiracle wet/drys are kinda puny sump wise unless you remove the balls.
