Saw it. Good movie. I would have let him watch it.... except the credits.
Wow, it has a LOT of drug references in it...I wouldn't let a 12 year old watch it for that fact alone. I know I'm not a parent but I work with 12 year olds and understand their maturity level in general lol.

Watching TV is watching TV. The influence to do or not do drugs will come from the real people in his life.
Seems like it had an anti-drug message. "These are the bad things that can happen on roofies".

"These are the bad things that happen when your drug dealer accidentally gives you date ---- drugs instead of E. Still, E=good." Different people interpret things in different ways.
I'm not telling you that you're wrong. Obviously I have no idea as to the child's maturity level.

I guess I just don't remember many people taking drugs. When they took the roofies, they didn't even know they took it. If you had an innocent 12 year old, I doubt he'd even know why they didn't remember anything. heck you could almost pass it off like a magic potent. Like in kids movies. (talk about taking drugs)

He's past the magic potion stage. If he didn't know what it was... I'd tell him. Any kid who plays xBox games are way past Disney. A 17 and 20 year old sibling has definitely shaved into his "innocence".
There's a couple of scenes in the movie 300 that had me blushing in my seat! The brief n.udity in this wasn't sexual in nature.
He'd be done before the credits though.
